Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
DynaPore is a spinoff of Tobias Erb’s group at MPI-Marburg focused on commercializing our membrane-based bioelectronic sensor built around an engineered ion channel.
Our Story
After making many contributions to the synthetic biology and membrane biology fields, our team invented the "Conformation Effect Transistor" one of the core DynaPore technologies (now patented, Inventors: Scott Scholz, Owen Jarman, Elisabeth Bobkova, Markus Meier, and Tobias Erb). Starting with the MAX!mize program, the startup incubator for the Max Planck Society, we embarked on our effort to bring our technology to market and to "make detection effortless!"
